Instructions

Yolk (using yellow yarn)

Round 1: 6 SC in MR (6)

Round 2: Inc x 6 (12)

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing later (I wrap the tail around the yolk three times then cut it).

Egg White (using white yarn)

Round 1: 8 SC in MR (8)

Round 2: Inc x 8 (16)

Round 3: [1 SC, inc] x 8 (24)

Round 4: HDC, DC inc, DC inc, HDC, SC, sl st x 2, SC, DC inc, DC inc, SC, sl st x 2, HDC, DC inc, HDC inc, SC, sl st x 2, DC, DC inc, DC inc, HDC, sl st x 2

Fasten off and leave a long tail for weaving.

Assembly

Fasten safety eyes to the yolk in between Round 1 and Round 2 evenly spaced apart as best you can.

Thread needle with yolk tail and sew yolk into the centre of the front of the egg white (I use the side without the tail as the front of the egg white).

Weave in egg white ends.

To turn this into a bag charm or keychain, use the egg white tail to position and secure the key ring before weaving in.

Your Fried Egg Friend is now complete. Enjoy!
